A flirtThis  topic suggestion is from Weirdo Dave.He is a member of my Forum which is being changed to a newer and shinier version. I am so excited and will let you know when it is operational.

In my last article on Venus oppose Uranus, I discussed Venus in the Houses. You can check that article to see a brief explanation of Venus in the Houses. The House in which  Venus resides will show that which you love. My Venus is in the 9th house and I love learning. My favorite place to be is with my head in a book. .Check out the House in which your Venus resides and find what you love.

Let’s move onto Saturn. Saturn, by House, shows that with which we struggle. However, our struggle can be what leads us to maturity if we persevere. Saturn is like a stern father. He will not give you your allowance until you mow the grass. Likewise, Saturn will not relinquish maturity until you earn it.

Saturn, by sign, shows a struggle with the sign in which Saturn resides. This can be mitigated if one has many planets in the same sign. . The picture will be muddied. However, one can still hone it down to  the native needing to learn to take in and make his own the TRAITS of the sign in which Saturn resides.  It will not be easy.I have Saturn in the 2nd House in Scorpio. My lessons toward maturity have been in learning to deal with the exigences  of life.

The 2nd House represents the material world. The sign of Scorpio represents one’s primal drives. Navigating my way around the material world and my own primal instincts are struggles for me. Swimming in the intellectual realms are not.  Each person will have his own struggles and his own places of ease. Look to Saturn, by House and Sign to see one’s struggles.

This was a brief introduction to the subject. Now, lets get onto the question at hand. If the native has a square from Saturn to Venus, he will struggle with being good enough to be loved. Saturn cools what it touches. It infuses huge dosages of self doubt. Venus is the love nature. Saturn makes one doubt one’s essential worthiness to be loved. The square exacerbates the situation more than any other aspect. The square is a locked in energy. I do not think it can change, barring a miracle from God. Hence, the native wonders if he can be loved if he shows who he really is.

Houses come into play here, too. I will give some examples. If one has Venus in the 1st House, one will be attractive and  gracious. However, if one has a square to Saturn in the 10th House, one may feel as if one is not good enough to have a place in society or a successful career. If one has Saturn in the 2nd House and Venus in the 6th House, one may feel a need to serve others and love to serve but Saturn will call one backwards to ask if one can really make money this way. There will be a struggle and a feeling of being thwarted because this is the nature of the square.

I hope you can take your own chart and personalize what I wrote to your own placements. If I have done that, I will have accomplished what I wanted with this article!
