I see beauty and grace as being different from being “sexy”. Beauty, grace and sexiness can exist together, but they may not, as well. My last article was on the topic of “effortless sexuality.” These natives are sexy if they are wearing a garbage bag. It is rather rare.
Now, we will discuss a different dimension of beauty.When I think of beauty and grace, I think of Princess Grace. She was beautiful and graceful, but one would not call, really, her sexy. I will, probably, get people who will argue that Princess Grace was sexy. I am not disagreeing. However, it is not the primary image with which she presents herself.
The primary planet to play a role in beauty and grace would be Venus. The first thing we would look for would be Venus aspects to the Ascendant, particularly the conjunction, sextile and the trine. The square and opposition do confer beauty, but it may have more of an “edge” to it. Think James Dean.
Now, onto the list.
1. Venus trine the Ascendant
This aspect exemplifies beauty and grace. If Princess Grace did not have it, she should have.
2. Adonis(2101) conjunct the Ascendant
Adonis inspires the adoration of others. One can be beautiful and bland. One can be beautiful and sensational. In the latter case, people cannot get enough information on you. I would put Princess Diana in this category. I don’t know if she had this aspect, but she could have.
3.Aphrodite(1388) Conjunct the Ascendant
Aphrodite is the Greek name for Venus, which is a Roman name. Hence, the results would be similar. The asteroid would need a smaller orb because it is less potent than a planetary body. I would allow three degrees for Aphrodite and six for Venus.
4. Sappho(80) Conjunct the Ascendant
Sappho is Eros with a book in her hands. Think Marilyn Monroe in her glasses.Sappho is sexy, but it is more of a cerebral or arty kind of sexiness. This may not be a “beauty and grace” aspect, per se, but it is a good asteroid to know, so all your Virgos, restrain yourselves
5.Bella(695) Conjunct the Ascendant
Bella means beauty. Hence, these natives may be seen as very beautiful.
