Someone asked me how this would manifest. This could be really hard. The Ascendant APPEARS to be one way. However, they may or may not be. This person would appear to be a natural mother. However, she may not be gifted in this area.
I am a Cancer Moon. I am a natural mother. It is not because I am better than she is. It is simply the charts.
We follow the blueprints of our charts, in my opinion.
Aquarius is not a natural mother. In fact, if there was ONE sign that does not embody a mother, I would say that it was Aquarius.
Aquarius is not a warm, touchy-feely person.
Aquarius does not like children smothering them with kisses.
Aquarius shows love through actions.
My mother is a strong Aquarius.
This trait was very hard for me.
I did not really feel loved.
Love, to me, was warm affection.
Hence, in this case, I can see how the person would struggle.
HOWEVER, a better barometer of the mother’s relationship with her children would be the synastry charts.
Hence, I think she should look there for more detailed information.
As an aside, I have had many mothers come to me with a horrible synastry with their children.
This is not their fault.
Sometimes, we cannot get close to other people, even if it is our children.
I did not have this particular issue because I had good synastry with my children, but my heart goes out to people who do not have this.
Understanding the parent/child synastry, though, would help to alleviate guilt.
It would, also, help to make the best of the situation, which is all one can do.
